Terror Plan Would Give F.B.I. More Power

The Justice Department made public on Friday a plan to expand the tools the Federal Bureau of Investigation can use to investigate suspicions of terrorism inside the United States, even without any direct evidence of wrongdoing.

"...even without any direct evidence of wrongdoing."

Let that sink in for a moment.

Courtesy of an administration which has eviscerated the Constitution and Bill of Rights, this country is sliding back toward a "Code Napoleon" legal system.

And if you remember your history, you will understand completely what this meant to the French legal process.

All accused were presumed guilty until proven innocent.

Until now, the foundation of US jurisprudence has been that all accused were presumed innocent until proven guilty.

It is that fundamental presumption of innocence which has been stripped away from We the People by these guidelines, and will nearly guarantee guarantee that we're going back to the "Star Chamber" judicial mentality."
